The Thorley Lane East Woods Action Group is a newly formed action group whose sole aim is to stop the brutalisation of the 3 acre woodland off Thorley Lane East, Bishop’s Stortford. We are just at the start of our fight, but we are already facing costs and disbursements, such as couriers, searches, HM Land Registry fees, printing, website building costs, hosting costs etc. We are hoping to receive small donations from the community to pay for these costs.

If you are able to help by donating £5-10 (really no more than this is necessary from individual donors), we will be able to pay our out-of-pocket expenses through these donations. These donations will not be used to pay for any of the Action Group’s time as this is being provided free of charge on a “pro bono” basis and outside of any volunteer’s own professional work. All of the professionals involved in the Thorley Lane East Woods Action Group donate their time and expertise in their respective personal capacities and not as representatives of any of the businesses or organisations for whom they work.
